How to get here
Train/Tube
Usually the best way to get to us is by Tube/Overground. We are literally a 1 minute walk from Hackney Wick Overground station (you can see it out the window) and around 30 minutes by tube from Central London.
Bus
The 276 Bus runs right past our door, while the 26, 30, 236, 339, 388 and 488 all pass within a reasonable walking distance from the studio.
Bicycle
As most East Londoners know a bike is a great way to get around this part of town! We have dedicated bicycle storage on site.
Car/Parking
The studio is situated close to the A12 for connections across The Capital. We have a loading bay for easy equipment load-in, load-out however we are unable to provide on-site parking.
All Day Parking
The closest option for all day parking is St Mark’s Gate car park (a few minutes walk) or Westfield (more than a few minutes walk). You can also check the Just Park website or app which shows nearby private parking spaces available to hire ‘AirBnb style’.
On sundays nearby street parking is free unless West Ham are playing at home or there is some other event at the London Stadium. A full list of events is available here.
Metered Parking/Pay By Phone
For shorter stays on-street parking is available on nearby streets in blocks of up to 4 hours.
We are on the boundary of Tower Hamlets and Hackney, which have different operating hours and pricing (Hackney is generally cheaper). See map below of recommended parking streets – always double check singage before parking!
What’s the area like?
Hackney Wick is a vibrant and ever changing part of town! As well as the fact that street art/graffiti is permitted there’s a great selection of places to eat and drink and even an axe throwing venue.
